I ran the Margaritas 5K this weekend and it was fabulous I finished in 43:56 minutes which is better than any time I have done on my treadmill. I surprised myself, running in at the end felt great
For my weekend warriors challenge here were my goals.
1. Drink 100 oz of water a day, I am starting to slack on this lately
2. Enjoy my 5k on Sunday and not worry about being the fat girl running the race
3. relax Saturday I know this doesn’t seem like a fitness goal but I need to rest for Sunday and find it hard to take weekend days off with all my extra time.
I will call it an ISH type of weekend.
I ran the 5k and it felt awesome and walking parts was great we chatted with people was just an all around great experience. I am already signed up for one in June found one for July and a 5 miler for August.
I didn’t do so great with the water Saturday I did fine but Sunday we were doing yard work after the race and having a few beers so I drank plenty of those
And Saturday I relaxed plenty, got a bike seat for the baby and we even stopped at the beach on our way back it was really a nice time.
I am going to put pictures on my flickr account from this weekend. I wanted to put them in the post I am just not that organized

I consider that a success! Congrats on the 5k and your time is OUTSTANDING! That’s awesome! and I love the fact that you’re planning another one. They are addicting! haha
