Sunday Brunch

I made French Toast casserole this morning for brunch. My son had his cousin sleep over for his birthday last night and this was a great morning breakfast for a couple of boys who spent the night playing video games!

Take 10-15 slices of wheat break and break them up.

Place them in the bottom of a casserole pan that you have sprayed with cooking spray.

next in a large bowl mix 2 eggs and 6 egg whites with 1.5 cups of milk, some vanilla extract or pumpkin spice is what I used today and 2 tbsp of sugar or sugar substitute.

Pour this over your bread and let stand for 10 minutes, while this is standing pre heat your oven to 350

Make sure all bread is coated with egg mixture put a few pats of margarine on top and then sprinkle with 2 more tbsp of sugar or sugar substitute and cinnamon, bake for 45 minutes

Once plated I added a sprinkling of powdered sugar and devoured!!!
